Pete Cataldo EDIT   SHARE Pete “Scarface” Cataldo (October 13th, 1970)  is a New York mobster and a soldier in the  Genovese Crime Family . Pete is the son of Genovese caporegime  Augie Cataldo Early Life  Edit Pete was born in Brooklyn, New York, but grew up on the streets of Staten Island. While growing up  raised around top mafia figures his entire life, it was only inevitable not to become a "wise guy". Pete was the son and nephew of very high ranking members in one of the most powerful families in New York til this day, the  Genovese Crime Family . His father  Augie Cataldo , a dominant Captain in the  Genovese Crime Family , who was well known for his ruling down at the Fulton Fish Market. Augie, nick named "Crazy Augie" was labeled by the government as a "Stone Cold Mafia Killer" during his trial in the late 70's.     Augustino "Crazy Augie" Cataldo (January 16, 1943) is currently a captain in the  Genovese Crime Family . Early Life Cataldo was born and raised around the mob his whole life growing up in a Italian neighborhood called Bensonhurst located in  Brooklyn , New York. He was a member of a local Italian street gang called "The  Rampers" a prominent street gang in Bensonhurst along with names such as  Sammy Gravano ,  Louis Vallario ,  Frank DeCicco , and more.  Criminal Activity Augie Cataldo was also heavily involved with the Fulton Fish Market with his Genovese cousins,  Carmine Romano ,  Vincent Romano , and  Peter Romano . Also with fellow Genovese Capo  Alphonse  Malangone . The Fulton Fish Market was later closed down by Mayor Rudy Giuliani because of strong  mob activity. Augie was very close with his Genovese cousin Carmine, both very similar with attitude.  ...
